SUPERCROSS ROUND 4 – JACKSON RICHARDSON READY TO RACE

By #FISTARMY, SUPERCROSS

After a solid 7th overall at Round 4 in New Zealand, Jackson says he’s feeling good going into the final round of the Australian Supercross Championship set to start this weekend in Melbourne . #smashforth

New Zealand was a huge step in the right direction for us, to finish 7th overall was an awesome feeling but to keep both wheels on the ground all weekend was also awesome! I’m going to put in a lot of work during the 2-week break and hopefully finish the season on a high come Melbourne.”

Jackson’s foot injury is also feeling the best it has all season which is a huge relief, feeling better each week he is on the bike! During the break Jackson spent a week in Townsville utilising MotoGP rider Jack Miller’s private Supercross track which was extremely beneficial leading into the final round.

SUPERCROSS ROUND 1 – JACKSON RICHARDSON INJURED

By #FISTARMY, SUPERCROSS

Richo had a pretty nasty crash at the opening round of the Australian Supercross Championship in Brisbane on the weekend which you might have seen?

Unfortunately Jackson didn’t make the main event due to him stalling the motorcycle on his last chance to qualify but as always was able to maintain his sense of humour  🤘#smashforth 😂😂😂

Obviously Jackson was extremely bummed with the result but overall was really happy with his riding, especially after qualifying 4th earlier in the day.

Following the opening round Jackson has since had X-Rays on his right foot which was hurt during his crash. Jackson end up breaking all 5 toes on his right foot, the pinky toe being the most significant.

Despite the injury, Jackson will compete at Round 2 this weekend in Adelaide as his pain level is quite low when he is actually on the motorcycles which is a positive.
